Life Legacy
Jean Van Meerten 97 of DeMotte/Roselawn area passed away on July 22, 2010 in Conroe, Texas with her loving family by her side. Born on January 12, 1913 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Ralph and Theresa(Jonkman) Oosting. Jean was married to Victor Van Meerten and from this union came 4 loving children. She was a member of the Community Christian Reformed Church in Roselawn. Jean enjoyed Sewing, Reading and loved cats. Preceded in death by her husband Victor, Children, Jack, and Victoria, Brothers, Harry, and Paul, Sister, Clara. Survived by Daughter; Terri(Robert) Maryonovich of Tx, Son; David Van Meerten of Wheatfield. 4 Grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday July 28, 2010 at 11 am at Frazier Funeral Home 621 S. Halleck DeMotte, In 46310. A visitation will be held on Tuesday July 27, 2010 from 4 pm until 8 pm at the funeral home, with burial to follow in the Holland Cemetery of DeMotte.
